Installation Instructions for Future Zen template

1. Create the new template
==========================

Drag the future_zen directory and it's contents into your includestemplates directory

If you want to rename the directory, you go right ahead. I'll understand (especially if you don't tell me).


2. Select the Template
======================

Log in to Admin and from the "Tools" menu select "Template Selection"
You should see "future Zen" listed as one of the installed templates in the box on the right hand side of your screen.
Click on the edit button.
Choose future Zen from the drop down menu that appears
Click update


3. Turn on Layout Boxes
=======================

New templates install with all the layout boxes turned off so from the "Tools" menu select "Layout Boxes Controller" and turn on as many or few as you wish.


4. Adjust Box Widths (if needed)
================================

This design assumes that your box widths are set to the Zen Cart default size of 150px. If not, select "Layout Settings" from the "Configuration" menu and set the "Column Width - Left Boxes" and "Column Width - Right Boxes" settings to 150px.


5. Enjoy
========

Sit back with with a beer, a glass of wine, a cup of tea, or, in my case, a Diet Coke and revel in the ease of installation and the new found tranquility of your updated Zen Cart. Alternatively run screaming to the Support Forum to hurl abuse at me for this ?*#@)*$" piece of %?" which together we will eventually trace to some failure on your part to follow the above instructions.
